Privacy Policy
Last updated:
How Wicked handles information you share through this website, project enquiries and installation planning tools, and the choices available to you.
Who this policy covers
This policy covers wickedinstallations.com and the Wicked installation planning tools linked or embedded on it. Wicked Installations is based in Trenton, Ontario. It explains how information is handled when you visit, contact us or use these tools.
For privacy questions, access or correction requests, contact Wicked Installations at sales@wickedinstallations.com or 613-743-3689. Put “Privacy enquiry” in the email subject so we can direct your request.
Information you choose to send
When you email, call or submit an inquiry, you choose what information to provide. The website contact form asks for contact and company details, an email address, project type, project location, timing and project details. Phone number and number of locations are optional fields. The form also asks for your consent to a reply.
The contact form uses Framer to send the inquiry to sales@wickedinstallations.com. Basic spam protection is enabled. We use inquiry information to understand the request, respond, assess installation scope and coordinate next steps. If a project proceeds, the relevant information can form part of its working record.
Please provide only information needed for the project. Avoid sending passwords, payment-card details, medical information or other unnecessary sensitive information. If you submit information about someone else or photographs of a site, make sure you have authority to share them.
Installation tools and project information
Installation Lab, the estimator and project-management tools can hold client and site details, contact information, scope, readiness, pricing and internal notes, rollout and closeout details, planning results and project photographs. The Ask the Lab feature saves the questions you enter, along with basic project context, in your browser.
These tools use browser storage to keep working data on the device. Project photographs are held in a separate browser database. Browser-held data may remain between visits, and other people using the same browser profile may be able to see it.
The tools can check sign-in status when opened. In Installation Lab, account sync is an explicit project action; once enabled for a project, later saves can send the project bundle to the tool service. Sharing a review link or sending a quote request can also send project information. The Lab quote handoff includes information about photographs rather than the locally stored photo files. Downloaded project backups can include the photo files themselves.
Wrap Studio saves vehicle and material choices, client references, notes, favourites, comparisons and uploaded artwork in the browser. In the separately hosted Wrap Studio tool, signed-in sync, sharing and quote actions can send the complete project, including uploaded artwork, to its service. Without signing in, a quote handoff can instead create a local download and temporary browser handoff.
The Wrap Studio embedded in the main website and the separately hosted tool use different service connections. Account features may not be available in every version. A local save or downloaded handoff is not confirmation that Wicked has received a project. Check for confirmation or contact Wicked if you are unsure.
Use sharing and submission controls only when you intend to send the relevant project information. Treat a shared project link as confidential and give it only to intended recipients.
Local copies, submitted records and downloads
Clearing a tool or your browser storage can remove its local working copy. It does not delete information already submitted, synced or shared, or copies downloaded by you or another recipient. Changing devices, clearing browser data or using a different browser profile can also make unsynced work unavailable.
The homepage planning checklist uses local page state and a print function. It does not submit that checklist through the contact form.
For a request concerning server-held or emailed project information, contact Wicked using the details above. Tell us which inquiry or project you mean without sending more personal information than necessary.
Website analytics and cookies
Framer also provides built-in metrics about visits, page views and referral sources. Framer states that its built-in analytics use no cookies or persistent identifiers. This measurement operates separately from Google Analytics.
Google Analytics 4 is optional. On your first visit, it stays off unless you choose Allow analytics. Choosing Essential only keeps optional Google Analytics off. The website, contact form and planning tools remain available without allowing it.
If you choose Allow analytics, Google Analytics loads to measure page views and these contact actions: email-link clicks, telephone-link clicks, estimate-link clicks, contact-link clicks and form submission actions. It can use cookies or other identifiers and process device/browser information and approximate location information.
Your analytics preference is saved in your browser. Use Privacy choices to change it later. Choosing Essential only after previously allowing analytics stops future optional Google Analytics collection and keeps Google Analytics from loading on later visits. It does not recall information already sent. Your choice applies to this website in the browser you are using; it is not automatically shared with separately hosted tools or other devices. If your browser cannot save the choice, optional analytics will be off again when you reload.
Our custom contact tracking records the type of action and the page where it occurred, only while analytics is allowed. It does not add the contents of your inquiry to those events or send contact actions that occurred before you allowed analytics. A form submission event records the action, not confirmation that the inquiry was delivered.
The analytics choice controls optional Google Analytics. It does not turn off Framer’s separate built-in metrics, browser storage used to save your projects or privacy preference, or technical requests needed to deliver requested pages and tools. External resources and services are described below.
Services used to deliver the website
Framer provides the main website and contact-form delivery. Cloudflare hosts the separate Wicked tool service. Google provides Google Analytics. These providers receive information needed to deliver their services. Requests to hosting, delivery and security services can involve technical information such as an IP address, browser details and the requested resource.
We use service providers to support the purposes described in this policy, such as delivering the website, processing an inquiry or providing a requested project feature. We limit the information and access we provide to what is needed for those purposes. We do not treat a request for installation information as permission for an unrelated use of your personal information.
Industry Watch uses YouTube preview images. Loading those previews sends a request to YouTube before you play a video. Selecting a video loads an embedded YouTube player. These requests can share technical information with YouTube and are subject to its privacy practices.
Optional vehicle lookup features can send a vehicle year, make, model or VIN to the U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s vehicle-data service. A separate vehicle-data request can use a selected year to retrieve Canadian government open data. Use these lookups only when you intend to request that information.
Using an external link, a third-party lookup or your own email or telephone application can involve that provider’s separate privacy practices. Service providers may process information outside Canada. Information processed in another country can be subject to that country’s laws and access by its courts or authorities.
Retention and protection
We keep personal information only for as long as it is needed for the purposes described in this policy, including responding to enquiries, carrying out projects and meeting applicable legal or record-keeping requirements. Retention can vary with the type of record. Contact us to ask about a particular record or request deletion; some records may need to be kept for an ongoing obligation or dispute.
We take reasonable steps to protect personal information and to limit access to people and service providers who need it for the purposes described here. No website, device or transmission method can be guaranteed completely secure. Take care when using shared devices, downloading project files and sending review links.
If we become aware of a privacy incident, we will assess what happened, take appropriate steps to contain it and reduce harm, and notify affected people or authorities where required by applicable law. Please contact us promptly if you believe information has gone to the wrong recipient or you notice a privacy or security issue involving Wicked.
Access, corrections and privacy concerns
You can contact us to ask what personal information we hold about you, request access or a correction, ask about a particular use or sharing action, or raise a concern. We handle requests in accordance with applicable privacy law. We may need enough information to verify your identity and locate the relevant record before responding.
You can ask to withdraw consent for a future use that depends on consent. This may affect our ability to respond to an inquiry or continue a requested service. Withdrawal does not recall information already sent or remove records that must be retained. We will explain any applicable limit when addressing your request.
If you remain concerned about how your personal information is handled, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
Changes to this policy
We may update this page as the website, tools or information practices change. The date on this page identifies the latest revision. A policy update does not by itself authorize a new use of personal information for which additional consent is required.
